Effect of weather parameters, date of sowing on performance of wheat varieties (Triticum aestivum L.)

The field experiment was conducted at Student’s Instructional Farm, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, (UP) during Rabi season December 2021-April 2022. In the environment, growth wheat greatly influenced by temperature changes associated with sowing dates. laid out in split plot design (SPD) 4 replication 3 different date (30th Nov, 15 Dec 30 Dec) main against varieties crop (HD-2733, K-307, K-9107 HD-2967) sub plot. Growth parameters were higher early sown crops as compared late crops. Among HD-2967 on 30th Nov obtain highest compare to HD-2733, K-307. It may be concluded that optimum time is wheat. most promising variety.The November recorded better growth, yield attributes grain (44.94 q ha-1) harvest index (39.05%) crop. tested exhibited maximum (42.30 (39.34%) other varieties.
